The Infiniti G20 was the same as the Nissan Primera. The latter name is the feminine form of the ordinal number one, “first” in Italian and Spanish. It was indeed built to be an entry-level luxury sedan, and may have been the first such vehicle for many.
You can keep your vehicle luxurious by using genuine Infiniti G20 as needed. Newer vehicles dating from 2000-2002 models are now five to seven years old, which usually means replacing Infiniti G20 parts that make up the cooling system as well as the brakes. These are automotive systems that generally require some major attention, regardless of make or model. The Infiniti parts that are probably past retirement age are the coolant hoses and the belts; the rubber materials in these Infiniti parts will deteriorate over time because of exposure to the dry heat of the engine compartment. Since most roadside breakdowns are caused by aging coolant hoses, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on these. Brakes are another matter. You actually have a great deal of control over how long the Infiniti G20 parts that comprise the brake system will last. In general, hard city driving with many sudden stops and riding the brake on downgrades will wear out brakes much faster than highway driving during which brakes are rarely used. This is a principle you shouldn’t discount; Infiniti G20 parts that are used gently and infrequently will last much longer. Allow the engine compression to slow the vehicle whenever safe to do so.
