1968 Porsche 911S Short-Wheelbase with 911R-Style Trim in White
About this vehicle
Within Porsche's original 911 hierarchy, the S sat at the peak — front and rear anti-roll bars, Koni shock absorbers, four-wheel disc brakes, and a hotter flat-six all part of the package from the factory. This short-wheelbase 1968 car has been restored and reworked along 911R lines since then, wearing white over a 1969 911T 2.0-liter flat-six fed through a 5-speed manual. It's in Montréal, QC.

The white repaint came from an earlier restoration. The seller thinks the shade is Porsche's Light Ivory, though no paperwork survives to confirm it. Trim has been deliberately pared back — no passenger mirror, black graphics running the length of the rockers, blacked-out rear grille. Original chrome details still show up where you'd expect them, and the 911R-influenced aesthetic holds front to rear. Fuchs-style 15" wheels wear Champiro tires, with a spare stashed in the front luggage compartment.

The cabin runs entirely black. Corbeau leather buckets replaced whatever seats were there before, and a leather-rimmed Momo Prototipo wheel faces a vinyl dash carrying VDO gauges. Leather door panels, velour carpeting, a vinyl headliner, and a radio-delete panel filling the center stack — it's a stripped, purposeful interior. The clock doesn't work.

Lift the rear lid and you'll find an air-cooled 2.0-liter flat-six that isn't the car's original unit; the serial number identifies it as a 1969 911T engine breathing through Weber-style triple-throat carburetors. Drive goes rearward through the 5-speed manual. A Rennline front strut tower brace tightens up the nose. The seller reports a recent rebuild with no supporting records, and estimates output somewhere between 110 and 120 HP depending on state of tune.

Canadian registration transfers with the sale.
