1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 1:8 Scale Model in White with Green Accents

White over green. Few color pairings carry as much weight in Porsche history as that one. Coming to auction from Germany, this is a 1:8 scale model of the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS — rendered in exactly that specification, with a white exterior and contrasting green accents that make up one of the most recognized liveries ever associated with the Carrera RS 2.7. The full-size car was conceived as a homologation special for Group 4 racing, and its influence on road car history is hard to overstate. This large-scale replica doesn't pretend otherwise.

At 1:8 scale, the thing commands genuine physical presence — roughly 2.1 feet in length once housed inside its included custom display case. Where many replicas stop at surface appearance, this one keeps going: doors swing open, the front trunk lifts, and the rear engine decklid operates exactly as you'd expect from the original layout. The interior carries through on that same commitment, with operable window cranks and door storage pockets that actually open rather than being molded shut. These aren't decorative gestures so much as deliberate structural choices.

The seller describes the model as like-new — free from dust or damage. Its display case keeps the piece fully visible while protecting it, whether it ends up in a dedicated collection room or on an office shelf. For something this size and at this level of detail, having a purpose-built case already included is no small thing.
