1997 Porsche 993 Turbo in Guards Red with 8,922 Miles
About this vehicle
The 993 Turbo was introduced for 1996 as the flagship of the 993 range, bringing the final air-cooled flat-six in twin-turbocharged form together with all-wheel drive and the generation's signature widened bodywork. Per NHTSA VIN decode, this is a 1997 Porsche 911 Coupe powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder. Only 8,922 miles from new. Guards Red over black leather, a Fabspeed Supercup exhaust, and a fresh major service by Patrick Motorsports make for a hard combination to dismiss.

Guards Red (L84A) is the car's original color — no changes there. Under current ownership it went through professional paint correction, after which a full-body paint protection film was applied. The 993 Turbo's wide-body shell is visually distinct from every standard Carrera of the same era: the front fascia, flared quarters, and fixed body-colored rear spoiler are all unique to the Turbo variant and weren't shared with the rest of the lineup. Mounted behind 18" Technology hollow-spoke wheels with Turbo-logo center caps are red Porsche-branded brake calipers, and the Michelin Pilot Sport tires carry a 2023 date code. Equipment includes headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, and dual polished exhaust tips. Paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report are available in the gallery.

Inside, black leather covers the cabin throughout. Power-adjustable front seats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, central locking, an onboard computer, and analog VDO instrumentation are all present. A previous owner had the A/C refrigerant recharged and removed the front bumper to clean the A/C condenser — not glamorous work, but the kind that matters. Under current ownership, the driver's seat backrest trim and upper door end caps were replaced, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit with Apple CarPlay was fitted. The cabin reads as tidy and well-sorted rather than worn or overlooked.

Factory ratings for the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six are 400 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque, sent through a 6-speed manual transaxle to an all-wheel-drive system with a limited-slip differential. Multi-link rear suspension, Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and fixed four-piston calipers clamping 322mm cross-drilled discs at all four corners handle the rest of the performance hardware. The Fabspeed Supercup exhaust was fitted under current ownership, and the original exhaust components are included in the sale. Patrick Motorsports' 2024 major service was thorough — oil return lines, spark plugs, distributor rotors, ignition wires, accessory belts, fuel filter, cabin air filter, intake hoses, and hood shocks were all addressed, along with corrosion repair in the battery box. Most recent oil service: July 2025.

Included with the sale are a Porsche Production Specifications Certificate, owner's manuals, a spare tire, a tire inflator, the original exhaust components, service records, and a clean title.
