2001 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet in Orient Red Metallic
About this vehicle
Orient Red Metallic — paint code L8A3 — doesn't turn up often on a 996 Cabriolet. Pair it with a Graphite Grey power soft top and a body-color removable hardtop on its own stand, and the result feels considered rather than loud.

Factory options go well beyond the basics. Exclusive 18" SportDesign wheels wearing colored Porsche-crested center caps, Litronic xenon headlights with headlamp washers, and Exclusive stainless steel tailpipes were all ordered from the factory — then Pirelli P Zero AS3 tires in 225/40-18 up front and 265/35-18 at the rear were fitted new in June 2026. The seller doesn't hide the cosmetic realities: small hood chips that get touched up annually, minor paint wear on a door trim piece, a small depression on the right rear quarter panel, and a dime-size mark on the hardtop. A clean CARFAX accompanies the car, and the gallery photos document all of it honestly.

The Graphite Grey carries into the cabin. Factory kit included heated 8-way power front seats with driver memory, a three-spoke steering wheel with Tiptronic shift buttons, an on-board computer, and a wind deflector. In 2018 a double-DIN Kenwood head unit went in, adding backup camera, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM; the original Becker CDR-220 radio transfers with the car. Anti-fog Vision vents were fitted in 2023. Worth knowing on the interior side: there's a nick near the passenger airbag, some wear on the softer side air-vent material, the fore/aft switch button on the passenger seat is missing (the seat moves fine), and a slight tear sits at the top of the windscreen.

Beneath the rear lid, the 3.4-liter flat-six — 300 HP, 258 lb-ft of torque — routes through the 5-speed Tiptronic S, with factory Porsche Stability Management (PSM) on board. The IMS bearing was replaced after the current owner took possession in 2014. Then in July 2026 an extensive service addressed the cam adjuster shoes, cam covers (resealed), motor mounts, axle seals, air-oil separator, fender linings, and brake hoses, all covered by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty from the shop that did the work. Brake fluid was flushed at 64,842 miles. A fresh battery went in at 64,880 miles. Full service records are in hand.

The sale includes a clean title, owner's manuals, a spare tire, a car cover, a battery charger, a paint-chip repair kit, cleaning materials, two sets of keys, the color-matched hardtop on its stand, race ramps, and a trickle charger.
