Speed Yellow 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe with 6-Speed Manual and Performance Upgrades
About this vehicle
Canadian-market from new, this 996.2 Carrera Coupe wears Speed Yellow over Black leather. Under the lid sits a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a 6-speed manual transmission — factory specs confirmed via NHTSA VIN decode as a 2004 Porsche 911 Coupe with a 3.6L six-cylinder engine. Three owners total, the first of whom accounts for the bulk of the modifications, and throughout that period the car reportedly spent Canadian winters inside a garage rather than on salted roads. The odometer reads approximately 156,000 kilometers (~97k miles). Fresh detailing and a ceramic coating mean it's ready to go the moment it leaves the auction block.

Speed Yellow reads well on the 996 shape, and whoever built this car had a clear visual direction in mind. GT3-style side skirts alter the rocker profile from stock, and 997.2-style LED taillights replace the original round units — a swap that quietly modernizes the rear end. Silver powder-coated 18" Fuchsfelge wheels, 8" wide up front and 10" out back, carry Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires sized 225/40 at the front and 285/30 at the rear. Bi-xenon headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a power sunroof, rear wiper, and a speed-activated rear spoiler are all present. The hood and both bumpers were refinished to address stone chips; hail damage to the rear decklid prompted a repaint, at which point the decklid vents and windshield trim were finished in black. Remaining paint is original and reportedly free of notable dents or scratches, though stone chips persist on the front bumper and a slight color-match variance may show under direct sun. No cracks or chips in the original windshield. The factory 18" Carrera wheels are included — currently wearing worn Bridgestone tires.

The cabin is largely stock. Black leather upholstery, Speed Yellow seatbelts, and Porsche-crested headrests give the interior a cohesive, factory-intentional character. Heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and the Hi-Fi Sound Package with a Porsche CDR23 CD stereo are fitted. A Porsche-crested storage compartment lid and aftermarket pedal covers are in place. Coco floor mats have replaced the original Porsche-script items; the driver's mat shows expected wear. One indentation in the passenger-seat leather is noted, though no tearing or scratching accompanies it.

The flat-six was rated 320 HP and 273 lb-ft at the crank from the factory. It's been fitted with a silicone intake elbow, MagnaFlow high-flow catalytic converters, and a Fister-modified exhaust. H&R lowering springs and Koni Yellow adjustable dampers replace the factory suspension components underneath. Per information passed down from the previous owner, the exhaust camshafts were replaced during the original owner's tenure, and the IMS bearing was reportedly swapped for a later-style OEM Porsche 997 unit at the same time. No documentation for either of those jobs exists. Current-owner maintenance has been routine oil changes with Motul 8100 5W-40 synthetic oil and Mann filters. The seller reports no signs of bore scoring.

Included with the sale: a toolkit, spare tire, tire inflator, car cover, and Canadian registration.
