1970 Ford Bronco U-100 – Restored 302 V8, Lift, Disc Brakes & Marti Report
About this vehicle
This U-100 rolled out of the Michigan Truck Plant in October 1969, finished in Diamond Blue over Parchment Rosette vinyl, with a 302 V8 and 3-speed manual sending it down the line. The Marti Report tells an interesting story: only 229 Broncos were built in that paint code, and just 169 carried that precise paint-and-trim pairing. What came next was a restoration spanning 2017 to 2025. Today it presents in blue over a white interior, sitting on a 2.5" lift with a fully rebuilt engine, power steering, and front disc brakes — 38,337 miles on a clean Massachusetts title.

Polished 15" Vintage-style wheels carry off-road tires the seller calls excellent tread, while a San Felipe tube bumper anchors the front end with a no-nonsense stance. The white-painted removable hardtop keeps the profile tidy. That 2.5" suspension lift is fresh from 2025, with new leaf and coil springs, lift blocks, and a corrected driveshaft and transfer-case yoke all part of the package.

Billet door-sill plates with Bronco script greet you at entry. A wood-rimmed three-spoke billet steering wheel frames an upgraded instrument cluster fitted with a new tachometer, LED gauge lighting, and LED dash lighting. The cockpit gets a replacement dash pad, and a full Centech wiring harness runs beneath it all.

The 302ci V8 was fully rebuilt in 2021. Short-block work included a master rebuild kit, pistons bored 0.030" over, fresh bearings, and a new timing set. Aluminum 180cc cylinder heads with 2.02"/1.60" valves breathe through a stainless roller valvetrain assembled with ARP hardware; ceramic-coated shorty headers manage exhaust. Power moves through the 3-speed manual and a dual-range transfer case to the rear wheels, or all four when needed. Supporting the drivetrain: a 2018 power-steering conversion, a 2021 front disc-brake conversion with new calipers, spindles, power booster, and billet master cylinder, a 3-core copper radiator paired with a full cooling-system refresh, a new steel fuel tank, and new shocks. Parts and labor documented at over $20,000, backed by an invoice trail.

Sale includes a clean title, full build documentation, and the Marti Report.
