Ferrari 288 GTO Original Tool Kit with Champion Spark Plugs & Full Wrench Set
About this item
Genuine 288 GTO tool kits don't come up often. Enzo Ferrari announced the 288 GTO in September 1983, reviving the celebrated GTO name — Gran Turismo Omologato — a lineage stretching back to the 250 GTO. It was the Prancing Horse's first true supercar, the car that set the template for everything after: the F40, F50, and Enzo.

What's here is the correct factory tool roll for that car. Thick vinyl. Fifteen individually stitched pockets. Factory-correct popper fasteners hold it shut, and everything inside is period-correct and fully accounted for.

Four screwdrivers are included — two Phillips cross-head, two flat-head, each in large and small sizes — all wearing the correct translucent amber handles with the proper molded grip profile. The eight double-ended wrenches run from 6/7 at the small end up through 20/22 at the large end, each face stamped with the correct 'Ferrari' casting mark on one side and 'Chrom Vanadium' on the other. The 14/15 wrench carries a distinct marking design, exactly as it should on a genuine 288 GTO roll. Rounding things out: the emergency window crank handle tool, a black-scripted red-handled Ferrari-branded pliers, and two OEM Champion A59G spark plugs.

The seller calls the kit exceptionally well preserved, with only minor patina — a fair read on a piece that's now four decades old. For a 288 GTO owner chasing concours completeness, someone wanting a spare set on hand, or a collector building a serious Ferrari automobilia library, honest condition like this is genuinely hard to find.
