Omega Speedmaster Racing Ref. 326.30.40.50.04.001 Full Set — Discontinued Generation
About this item
Ref. 326.30.40.50.04.001. That's the Speedmaster Racing Co-Axial Chronometer Chronograph — stainless steel case, white dial, and the yellow accents the Racing collection has made its calling card. Protective plastic remains on portions of the case and bracelet in the seller's photographs, which tells you quite a bit about how carefully this piece has been stored.
Three chronograph registers occupy the dial: 60-second display at 9 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. The date display is integrated into the lower sub-dial rather than tucked awkwardly alongside it. Black sub-dials read crisply against the white ground, and the applied hour markers carry that same contrasting finish through the hands as well. Wrapping it all up is a black tachymeter bezel with yellow scale detailing — motorsport shorthand worked into every corner of the design.
The 40mm case houses Omega's automatic Co-Axial Caliber 3330, which holds an officially certified chronometer designation alongside a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, Co-Axial escapement, and an Si14 silicon balance spring. Power reserve lands at approximately 52 hours. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment sits above the dial, and water resistance is rated to 100 meters — 330 feet.
Omega has since discontinued this reference. It's the previous generation of the Speedmaster Racing line, full stop. Factory specs run as follows: 40mm case diameter, 19mm lug width, chronograph functionality, date display, tachymeter scale, stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp. Offered as a full set out of Boca Raton, FL.
