About this item

Reference 310.32.42.50.02.001 is tied to something real: NASA's Silver Snoopy Award, given to Omega in 1970. Fifty years later, this special-edition Speedmaster came out to mark that anniversary — and, more pointedly, to recall Apollo 13, the mission where astronauts used a Speedmaster to time a critical engine burn that brought them home. That's documented history, not ad copy.

The case runs 42mm in stainless steel, and the dial is silver with blue subdials — the 9 o'clock running-seconds subdial carries a rendering of Snoopy, NASA's long-standing safety mascot. A blue tachymeter bezel and blue fabric strap complete the look. Turn it over, though, and things get genuinely interesting: activate the chronograph, and an animated mechanical display on the caseback sends Snoopy traveling around the far side of the Moon, Earth rotating behind him. It's the kind of complication that earns a second look. Powering everything is Omega's manually wound Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, which pairs hand-wound mechanics with current precision standards.

Condition is excellent pre-owned. The set is complete — original Silver Snoopy presentation box, an Omega international warranty card dated December 2025, accompanying Omega cards and documentation, a presentation loupe, a commemorative Silver Snoopy booklet, and the original presentation materials. Study the photos carefully: the case, crystal, bezel, fabric strap, clasp, animated caseback, and accessories are all shown. The silver-and-blue palette and Snoopy-themed details separate this reference from standard Speedmaster production watches in a way that's hard to miss.

After the auction closes, the watch ships to Bennison Watch in West Palm Beach, Florida for authentication. Once that's cleared, the buyer pays the seller directly; collection in person or secure shipment to the winning bidder are both options. Tariffs, duties, customs, shipping, shipping insurance, handling, transactional fees, and any miscellaneous fees fall to the buyer. A 6% buyer's premium applies, with a $300 minimum and a $3,000 maximum. All information is the seller's responsibility; PCARMARKET does not assume liability for inaccuracies or for loss or damage in transit. The watch is located in Allen, TX.
