Thermostat to Water Outlet Hose.
The coolant hose that connects the thermostat to the water outlet on your Volvo XC90 has a standard hose connection for the thermostat and quick-connect female fitting for the water outlet pipe. Subjected to consistent heat from the engine, this coolant hose can become brittle, cracking at the thermostat fitting and the quick connection to the water outlet can break off in the pipe, both creating coolant leaks. When this happens, the hose must be replaced to prevent engine overheating. The genuine Volvo 30774512 is the original equipment thermostat to water outlet hose used by Volvo on the Volvo B6324S and B6304T L6 engines found in the S60, S80, V60, V70, XC60, XC70, and XC90 models from 2006-2016 and the recommended hose for your Volvo XC90.
