  • 44-165062 is a Bilstein B4 OE replacement (air) shock absorber.
  • The smooth ride you love in your 2007-2012 GL series and 2010-2011 ML series Mercedes has a lot to do with semi-active air suspension and these Bilstein hydropneumatic front shock absorbers.
  • Developed by Bilstein for Mercedes, these shock absorbers are the original front shocks used by Mercedes when your GL or ML was new and are the same shock absorbers sold by Mercedes at your local dealer under part number 164320611339.
  • If your Mercedes GL or ML experience is giving you a bumpy ride or if the front end is sitting lower than the rear, these may be signs that one or both of the front shock absorbers have lost their ability to hold air pressure and need to be replaced.
Bilstein B4 OE Replacement (Air) dampers are designed to replace the original air suspension systems on many European brand vehicles. Bilstein is an OE supplier for air suspension systems; the quality of these products meets, and typically exceeds, the standards set forth by the vehicle's manufacturer. Bilstein B4 OE Replacement (Air) dampers are designed to connect directly into the original connectors on the vehicle, ensuring modification-free installation and restoration of the original feel of the vehicle.
Left = Driver side and Right = Passenger side.
All parts are priced individually unless identified as a set or kit. "Per car" notes identify how many of a given part your car has and "Left/Right or Front/Rear" notes means the part fits the left or right side of the car. These parts are still sold individually and you'll need to select the appropriate quantity if you plan to replace more than one of this item.
