Power Steering
  • The belts on your Toyota’s engine are used to run the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and cooling fan. To ensure the belts do not rub or interfere with other components Toyota uses pulleys to deflect, route and keep proper tension on the belt.
  • A failing pulley can cause a grinding or squealing sound to come from your engine and will cause an excessive amount of drag on the belts that will wear them out prematurely.
  • This Genuine Toyota idler pulley is a direct replacement idler pulley for the 1985-1995 Toyota 4Runner and Pickup models with the 2.4 22RE engines.
  • If you are hearing a grinding or squealing coming from the engine on your 4Runner or Toyota Pickup, have the idler pulleys inspected along with the drive belts and use the genuine Toyota idler pulley trusted by Toyota technicians if it needs to be replaced.
