Vapor Canister Vent Valve
If your car has a rough idle or can be difficult to start, you may want to check into the vapor canister vent valve. As part of the emissions system the vapor canister captures and recirculates the evaporative emissions. The vapor canister vent valve allows air to get into the canister which allows the system to pressure and perform the function it was designed to do. A failed vent valve that doesn’t open and close properly keeps the evaporative emissions system from operating properly which can definitely affect how well your car starts and runs.
If your car’s radio antenna has seen better days, replace the mast with a high quality Autotecnica replacement antenna mast. Too many times forgetting to lower the mast at the car wash or just simply getting bent up by accident, a new antenna mast from Autotecnica is just what you need. Manufactured to the OE dimensions for ease of installation and a factory original appearance, the alloy conductors minimize electrical resistance for crystal clear reception. So if you want to get that radio back to working like it’s supposed to, check out the AutohausAZ online catalog to see if there is an Autotecnica antenna mast available for your model.
Coolant Temperature Sensor
Your engine’s coolant needs to be maintained at the correct temperature to keep the engine from overheating and keep it running properly. Engines have coolant temperature sensors to tell the fuel management system when the engine has reached operating temperature and whether or not that changes as you drive. This allows the system to optimize the fuel injection system for the best fuel economy and emissions. Over time the coolant temperature sensor sitting in the engine coolant may start to give inaccurate readings or just fail altogether resulting in poor performance and economy. Check the AutohausAZ listings for your car to see if there is an Autotecnica coolant temperature sensor available and get your engine performance back.
