Blower Fan Motors
The modern blower motor in cars works harder than ever and your’s will eventually need replacing. With the addition of cabin filters in most cars, that blower has to pull air through a filter which puts even more strain on the fan motor. (Replace your cabin filter regularly!) And with climate control becoming commonplace on more models, that blower is operating all the time keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The Hella blower motor is designed to the same OE specifications for size, mounting, CFM output and power usage so you can get back on the road in comfort. The bearing that the blower cage rides on can wear causing your fan to squeak or rattle, especially when you first turn it on or switch it to a different speed. Noisy blower motors will need replacing soon, that noise will not get better or go away unless the fan stops completely. Check our catalog to see if there is a Hella blower fan motor for your car.
With Hella’s experience in lighting and electronics who would know better on manufacturing the relays that control all of those electrical components. Nearly every electrical circuit in a car runs on a relay or a control module with most older cars having just relays. You obviously don’t want battery power going to all your lights and radio and whatever all the time, well the simplest control to shut off that power when you turn the key off is a relay. Relays are also what connect and disconnect these components as needed, it’s a simple switch that gets a signal from your pushing buttons or turning things on and opens to allow 12V power to that component. A very simple device that is crucial to so many things in your car. Each Hella relay is designed to the OE spec for pin connections, power capabilities, and specific demand signal voltage.
