Kolbenschmidt Connecting Rod Bearing Set

Your engine uses connecting rods to transmit the crankshaft rotation into an up and down motion from the pistons. These connecting rods need a bearing surface to allow it to ride on the crankshaft and this is accomplished with the connecting rod bearing set. Your engine’s rod bearings are under constant heat and stress so over time they will wear and need replacing. An OE quality Kolbenschmidt connecting rod bearing set is the perfect choice for any engine rebuild and will ensure that you get many more years of driving out of your engine.

KolbenschmidtCrankshaft Main Bearing Set

The heart of your engine that drives everything is the crankshaft. From turning the belts on the front of the engine to turning the input for your transmission which moves the car, the crankshaft does it all. The crankshaft sits at the bottom of the engine on various blocks and supports all of which need a bearing surface to allow it to spin. The crankshaft main bearings are crucial to the crankshaft turning smoothly but these eventually will need replacing. A Kolbenschmidt crankshaft main bearing set will include all the main bearings precision cut and ground to the exact dimensions the OE specifications call for. It may well have been the OEM main bearings in your engine from the factory so you know these will work the best.

Kolbenschmidt Piston w/ Rings

The pistons in your engine are the driving force of the engine that once started keeps the crankshaft turning. The heat and pressure that the pistons must endure requires that they be manufactured to precise dimensions. Specific engine designers may also specify unique designs to the face or allowing for specific ring designs to optimize performance and efficiency. As engines have gotten more refined and now must run as cleanly and smoothly as possible, the piston designs have had to keep pace with special materials and manufacturing. A new set of Kolbenschmidt pistons w/rings will incorporate all of the OE specifications as well as any factory updates that may have happened since your car was built. When you need to rebuild that engine putting in new pistons w/rings from Kolbenschmidt ensures you get back that original performance from your car’s engine.
