Victor Reinz Cylinder Head Gasket Set
When you need to change the head gasket(s) on your engine you need the OE quality of Victor Reinz so you know it’s right the first time. The Victor Reinz cylinder head gasket sets include the cylinder head gasket(s) along with all the other upper engine gaskets and seals you need to complete the repair. Most have intake and exhaust gaskets, valve stem seals, emissions gaskets as needed, and seals or gaskets for the other components needed to be removed to get to the cylinder head. Please note, many newer engines use single-use TTY headbolts so new headbolts must be purchased as well. Although older engines may not require it, replacing the headbolts on all engines is always a good idea to obtain the optimal torque ratings when reassembling the engine.
Victor Reinz Camshaft Seal
Your engine’s valvetrain use a camshaft(s) to operate the intake and exhaust valves. The camshaft is mounted in the cylinder head(s) with a gear on the front which is driven by a chain or belt attached to the crankshaft. Where the camshaft comes out the front of the cylinder head an oil seal is installed and this seal will eventually need to be replaced. Any time you have to open the timing cover for repairs, normally a timing belt or chain replacement, you should go ahead and change out the camshaft seal. A new Victor Reinz camshaft seal will ensure many more miles of driving without worrying about a leak under that timing cover.
Victor Reinz Wheel Seal
Most older cars have independent wheel bearings that need grease packing and to keep that grease inside the bearings a separate wheel seal is used. This seal fits snugly within the front steering knuckle or rear hub assembly and should be replaced any time you remove the wheel bearings for replacement or repacking with grease. By installing a new Victor Reinz wheel seal you can be assured your bearing grease will stay in the bearings and keep you rolling along for miles to come.
